To the many chaplains throughout the world who are so valiantly pro- tecting the spiritual life of our boys in uniform, to the innumerable works of mercy which they are performing on far-flung battlefields, to the ideals which they uphold midst the horrors of war, we proudly dedicate this, the fifth memoir of our Years together. May God in His beautiful clemency, through the intercession of His Mother, the Immaculate Queen of Peace, the patron of our Manakata, aid these military Apostles of Christ in their overwhelming task of leading fighting souls to their ultimate glory. And the rain fell, and the floods came, andthe winds blew and beat against that house, but it did not fall, because it was founded on rock. - Matt. VII, 24-26. It is the hope and prayer of every member of the Faculty that the grad- uates of '44 may exemplify the Master's teaching preceding these, His words. Thus the structure of their lives will stand secure and strong through these uncertain times reaching their fulfillment under the standard of Jesus and Mary. Pagcfive
