K lhleen Ryan Kath n Beckenb ue Th so Da del D n D na ds h a y L Secrelarg Trearurer Set em y T earu er Ser ela 3 T ear as, faces fo the future, P R E S I D E N T S CHARLENE HINKLE PATRICIA SMITH CORALIE TURNQUIST 51 CLASS HISTORY DURING the last minute rush before graduation Class 51 pauses a moment to rrffle through the pages of memory Some look back to kindergarten days at Holy Names but the majority appeared on the campus in September 48 as bewildered Freshmen Minds were fresh and eager to be rnrtrated into the fields of academic learning characters and personalities were ready to bloom into the fullness of Christian w omanhood There are always favorite memories connected with the Freshman year the first day at school first recrtals first plays first honors Sodality reception Awards came when the Spartan team not only made its hrst appearance on the SU floor but walked away with the basketball cup Turning the page the Sophomore year presents to the Senior the memory of welcoming incoming Freshmen with the silent judgment We were never like that' The year included recollections of The Stolen Prince and the second winning of the basketball cup April brought the big Farthquake which thoroughly shook school and students alike The most unforgettable event however was the inspirational visit of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima to the halls of HNA General the third victory at SU and the un1orSen1or picnic on Bainbridge Island were but a few of the events which highlighted the year before the class members took the honored places as Seniors The ink has barely dried as upperclassmen look back once more oxer the past Once more they reminrsce senior pictures recrtals the trip to Olympia with its inter view with Governor Arthur Langlre Father Daughter banquet Mother Daughter Mass of Thanksgiving and breakfast Senior play Murder in the Nunnery and the night of Il l l 7 - . 7 . , , ,. 7 ' V 7 S I ' ' 4 v - , 7 7 7 ' G 7 7 7 I . . .
