GENE GUCCIONE, ACTIVITY PHOTOGRAPHER CLEFTD, TALKS OVER PICTURE SELECTIONS FOR THE 1957 MERCIAN WITH EDITOR ROWENA HARVEY . . AND FINALLY The man behind the scenes, rather the man behind the pages . . . Gene Guccione, activity photographer, who has spent the greater part of the year running about Holy Name Campus with that camera and a bright smile, always encouraging everyone to pose pretty now. This is the second year Gene has taken the activity shots success- fully .... the second year he has been seen at every play, at every party, at every basketball game falways cheeringh, at anything that Holy Name sponsors, with that perpetual camera. He has had lunch in the cafeteria, making us all feel like movie stars as the flash bulbs went off . . . He has had cokes in the auditorium before a play, encouraging all of us not to be nervous, but to keep calm, for a pretty picture. Around the school he is known as Gene, or sometimes simply Hey 'tographer . Regardless of what he is called, he is still the man behind many of those smiling pictures, that tell the story of a year at Holy Name of Jesus High School.
