As the lowhest of creatures we the Class of 56 entered the seemingly complex world of Holy Name I-hgh on a brrght September day 1952 We elected Nick Camero to lead us over the Jogs with the help of Srster Mary of the Holy Cross OSM and Srster Mary Eleanor OSM Soon after rrutratron we were received rnto the Sodalrty membershrp ln the Pep Club followed soon after Sodalrty reception Our first socral achrevement was the Semor Send Off Dance whrch now enjoys the status of a tradrtion at Holy Name The annual retreat whrch rnsprred us to main tain our rdeals as Chrrstrans polrshed off our year as Freshmen September 1953 found the nobodys of last year suave soplusticates Sophomoresl JoAnn Hakel as presrdent bore the brunt of drffrcultres Sister Margaret Mary OSM and Srster MaryGrace OSM were our homeroom faculty Our social endeavor ofthe year was the Bobby Sox Ball Our second lugh school retreat opened new avenues spirrtual progress September 1954 We have reached that cov eted status Upperclass men!
