SQ 66 Completes Twenty-Five Years of Teaching Father Scullen baptized Ruth Mahon, whom we all know now as Mrs. Ruth Seitz. Born in this parish, she attended school here, received her First Holy Communion, was confirmed and was married at Holy Name. She is truly a Holy Namer. 334, Mr. Mahon, her father, attended Holy Name back when it wasjk town as Saint Columba Academy. Mr. Fred Seitz, her husband, was alsoldllstudent at HN. lt was a warm day in luly of l933 when she was married by Father Scullen in Holy Name Church. This year she is celebrating her twenty-fifth anniversary as a teacher at Holy Name. All of the faculty who have worked with her have great admiration for her. The students who know her, love and thank her for all the help she has given them. Giving her all to Holy Name and its students, faculty and friends she is loved by all. Her smiling face can be seen every- day as she instructs eighth grade students. Twenty-five years of happy days spent helping others. A graduate of the class of '26, she studied at Cleveland Normal School, Sisters College and also enrolled in courses at Western Reserve and ,lohn Carroll Universities for her chosen career. A year of practice teaching was spent at St. Cecilias, St. Colemans, and at St. losephs Crphanage. Holv Name will long remember and appreciate all Mrs. Seitz has done for us.
