RELIGION, BEST PREPARATION FOR LIFE od can no rnore be relegated to Sun- day Mass. The Cath- olic of today must be permeated with Cath- olic ideals, steeped in Catholic thinking, alive to opportunities for Catholic Action. Religion classes at Holy Name are point- ed to these high ends. Guided by l-loly Name priests, and with daily lessons su- pervised by h o m e - room Sisters, Narners acquire a solid foun- dation ior adult Cath- olic lite. Top: Seniors Mildred Drinnon and James Fischer corner Father Karper to clear up a perplexing problem. There's a humorous angle to this one, evidently! Below: Freshies of Sister Annina's homeroom put their efforts in the Christmas gifts and clothing they are packing for a Mission school in New Mexico. They are Jacqueline Bunch, Mary Jean Kehel, Pat Zgodenski, Louis Bertoni, Dorothy Kawalics, Margaret McDevitt, Bill Chin- nock, Joe Wielgosek, Donna Hoffman, and John Bubich. Page 48
