mpablo, ' CHOLARSHIP is a precious thing. Recognizing this, Holy Name honors all those bearing a sustained average of 90 per cent or above with her highest award, a green ribbon denoting a Maxima Cuni Laude diploma. On her second highest sons and daughters with averages between 35 and 90 per cent, she bestows a White ribbon with a Magna Cum Laude. Holy, bday, face, fha, Page 10 OMli'l'lME early in the hrst semester classes choose their officers. Naturally the Senior election is the big event, because he who is fortunate, or unfortu- nate, enough to be chosen, represents the student body for the year. Peter Grant is such a person. XYhen Pete says, f'Hey, Dorothy Seitz, vice presi- dent: Ed Sullivan, treasurerg and you, Rose Ann Gil- hride, secretaryg I want a word with you Y something' big must he up. Through the year, Pete and the other officers slayed continuously toward one end or another. Such gallantry, such suffering, such toil. For what? XYell, for one thing, to win the lifelong respect of all their fellow Naincrs. We students realize how whole- heartedly our ofhcers have espoused our cause, often at the cost of considerable sacrifice to themselves. Thanks, Pete and all!
