Ulla loyal 029, Faonlabm Veteran of fighting in France and Belgium, Pfc. James Joyce, was killed in Belgium, January 7, the day he was previously reported missing. After winning his wings at Ft. Benning, Georgia, the 19-year-old paratrooper was attached to the 17th Airborne Division with the Third Army. Pfc. Joyce would have been a member of the class of '45, Pfc. james Joyce i' 'A' 'A' t 'A' i' Pfc. Norman Gerson Marine Pfc. Norman Gerson, was killed ln action, March 5, on Iwo Jima.
