guide Um fzpufhgiu ' Another son of Holy Name who has returned to his Alma Mater as a priest of God is Reverend Michael J. Ondik, class of 'ZEL For the past few years Father has been moderator of the Holy Name Band, and through his in- terest the membership of this music- al organization has been increased. Whenever there are any repairs to be made, Father Ondik turns handy man and fixes things in a jiffy. Father Ondik is director of the annual Holy Name Bazaar and is Junior religion instructor. Reverend james P. McIntyre Not an official but an honorary graduate of Holy Name is Rev- erend James P. Mclntyre who has been at Holy Name four and a half years. Since June, 1944, Father 'tMac has assumed the duties of Athletic Director. Father McIntyre is also moder- ator of the Children of Mary and Blessed Virgin Sodalities and is promoter of the St. Vincent De Paul Society and Parish Honor Roll. He also instructs the sopho- mores in religion. Reverend Michael I. Ondik Reverend Francis VV. Carney Reverend lidward M. Tulley was an assistant at Holy Name until Easter Sunday when he left to serve as a Navy chaplain. While at Holy Name Father was moderator of the Holy Name Soc- iety and Scullen Club and instruct- or of f1'eshman religion. Father Tulley was director of grade school athletics which in- cluded football, baseball and bas- ketball. The Boy Scout Troop was also under his guidance. Reverend Edward M. Tulley Although he has been with us only a year, Reverend Francis W. Carney is already a familiar fig- ure at Holy Name. In preparation for the priest- hood Father studied at North American College, Rome and at Catholic University, Washington. He received his Doctor of Sacred Theology Degree in 1943. At the present time Father Car- ney is acting as assistant at Holy Name and is on the faculty of the Sisters' College. Page 7
