me lf ll HOLY FAMILY HIGH SCHOOL 0I elfU0l A grain of sand can never be More than a victim of the sea But when combined are all these grains Resist they all of nature's pains? We who are setting out on the vast sea of life should be prepared for the many storms as well as days of calm which will alternately darken and illuminate the days of our long voyage. We should go forth with a mind open to the counsels and ,criticisms of those along the way. Many dreams of our parents' era will be realities in ours. Will we be cognizant of their value? Will we have the ability to cope with them? The so-called space-age shall produce many new problems but will also open many new fields of endeavor. During our generation the greatest ad- vances of modern times shall occur. We, the class of 1959, will accept these problems and challenges and with the help of God, make our lifetime the most notable in history. JEFFREY NUNES
