Here at Holy Family High School the Comart Club has tried to broaden its knowledge in the fields of commercial art and advertising by attempts at finger-painting and posters, using the renewed silk screen process. During the Yuletide season many hours of toil resulted in Christmas souvenir baskets to decorate the dining table at the annual Christmas dinner of Saint Marys Orphans Home. The Comart Club is very much a part of Holy Family High School. Then with all the dramatic suddenness of a roaring tornado, Coach Ed Lowneys warriors struck for the only score of the day. After recovering a Saint's fumble on the midfield stripe, the Crusaders drove to their rivals' 18-yard marker, and from there Paul Kennedy blasted his way through left tackle to score on a scintillating touchdown iaunt. That score climaxed a fine season for the Blue for when you look back on the games, you can see that injuries to key members hurt the team immensely. Many people, after the season is over, look back and try to pick out an outstanding player. In the case of Holy Family that is practically impossible as all played wonderful ball. But, in the opinion of many experts, Ed Sottak was the guiding light of an inspired ball club.
