At this time, secular studies are put aside, and souls are nourished with prayer, spirit- ual reading and conferences. These talks are given by a retreat master, trained for that special work of instructing youth and coun- selling them in their perplexing problems. 1- Repair the past, prepare the future, admonished Rev. Paul Denis, M.S. in one of the general conferences during retreat.
