To finance this project the twenty members of the class solicited Mason City firms and friends for ads and patrons. With the fund to back their literary efforts, the real work began: and each day found the staff planning and working to make this annual the best ever. Long hours of copy writing, pasting, drawing, and printing have culminated in the finished brain child - the Maragold of 1951. deadline. Above: Looks like Dick Krieger hasn't any money for his yearbook. Maybe senior, Phyllis Nugent, receiving Margaret Popp's money, could give him a loan.
