C6165 ,Maint g In the begmning there were frfty three Over half of our class were startung their nunth year at H F We from H F grade school were glad to welcome the new and scared faces but don't let us fool you wewere scared too We began our hugh school days duvuded unto two dufferent classes Freshman East havung Srster Mary Helen as our home room teacher and Freshman West wuth Suster Mary Clement In our Sophomore classwe were unuted asone under the guidance of Suster Mary Edwin We ll always remember Fruend Romans Countrymen Enterung our Junuor year we began to feel Important and needed Thus year was lust about the best so far About the muddle of the year we chose our class officers George Bubalo as our Presudent, Sue Colluns Vuce President, Lous Bauer Secretary, and Joe Melfu Treasurer We experuenced the 'oy of sponsorung our Skatung Partues Then came Aprll with the Prom and Banquet un the aur Graduatuon was not long un comung for the Class of 50 This meant that ut would be only one more year tull we d be ln theur places September seemed to be mules away but ut came sooner than expected Since then tume has even flown faster Our Senuor year started out wuth everyone excuted checking thelr creduts choosung the dufferent sublects of the year and lookung for lobs Furst we decuded to have a school paper This was only the beglnnung of our headaches Then we chose our class rung and the stone Before we knew lt we were practucung for the class play The Slngung Ghost We trued our best to make it a success Now lt was time to get our pictures taken for our Graduatuon Oh tt s gettung closerl Belleve ut or not two months after our rlngs were promused to arruve we funally got them Next we chose our Basketball Queen Loretta Lumotta A Mardl Gras Dance was held un her honor and then she reugned over the game whuch was also Parent s nught On February 23 we played our Now we are waltung for our buggest game of the year The Tournament We play New Holland We ve attended our last Easter Dance and taken part un our Glee Club sprung recutal We wull be goung on our last Hugh School Pucnuc Thus us the tume when everyone us pals wuth everyone else Whether we get sunburnt all scratched up or uf we accudentally fall un the ruver we are all out for cu good time and we want everyone else to have a good time Now from one extreme to another the Prom our last one Everyone us anxuous to get ut over wuth butdeep unsude every one has a funny feelung luke soon ut wull be all over The Junuors wull guve us a very exqusslte Banquet Thus IS about the very last actuvuty on our lust We will all go to Communion together for the last tume Thus wull be followed by a breakfast and a farewell talk by Msgr Gressel The Bug Day has really arrtved Thus us really The Day Everythung we have planned for all year long has funally come But we don t want ut to be here not quute yet Some wull be happy, some wull take ut un theur strude, but l thunk the maloruty of us wull be sorta sad Those who have had a great unterest un what happens at Famuly wlll not want to leave I don tthlnkwe ll muss the studues so terrubly but ut s the fruendly atmosphere we ve held wuth one another Our thanks go to Monsugnor Gressel who has gone far beyond hus means to make every thung so convenuent for us To the Susters for theur efforts to try to make something out of everyone of us To the rest of the Student Body who help make up thus wonderful school Belueve me l know ut us After all I ve spent twelve years here and I ll never forget them But I m not the only fne To the future Senuors keep Famuly goung O 1 . . . . , I T I I I I .
