,nur Dedication Qferemong Most Reverend William T Vulloy, bishop of Covington, participated in solemn and impressive ceremonies at Holy Family parish on November 13, 1950 beginning with the celebration of a Pontifical High Mass During the Mass our pastor, Right Reverend Declan F Carroll, was invested in the purple robes of a Domestic Prelate in the household of His Foliness, Pope Pius XII Dedication of the new school was held in the afternoon at 3 o'c1ock, beginning with a brief service in the church, following which Bishop Malloy, Nonsignor Carroll, Father Haney and visiting cle gy took part in a procession from the church to the school The bishop sprinkled holy water at various points in the new school In th1s ceremony he was directly assisted by Reverend Edward Hickey, Covington Secretary to the bishop Accompanying the bishop 1n this phase of the dedica tion program were Reverend Henry Haacke, Covington, editor of the Diocesan Wes senger, Reverend Roy Lombard pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Huntington and Reverend John Reifsnyder, assistant superintendent of the diocesan schools Following the ceremony, Bishop Malloy spoke at a general open house and TSCSDEIOH in the auditorium The reception was planned by the ladies f St Anne's Altar Society Until late in the afternoon, members of Holy Family congregation and friends of the parish inspected the spacious new school Included among the visiting clergy were two former Holy Family stu dents the Reverend Leo B asey, pastor of St Ratrick's Church, Maysville and the Reverend Iichael Tierney, pastor of St August1ne's Church, Augusta dafulfg 1949 so Right Reverend Declan F Carroll, Superintendent, A B St Xavier, Cincinnati, Sister Sister Sister Sister Sister Sister Sister Sister Oh o S T P Catholic University, Wash U C University of Kentucky Reverend Edward S Haney, A B Vill Madonna College Religion, Latin Flizabeth rarie, Principal, Catholic University, Washington, U C Catherine Bernard, lary Laetitia, A B Mary Kevin, A J Imry Herman, A B Rose Ann 'ary Rose, A Helen Joseph 'ary Auxilia, A English, Latin Villa Madonna College, Commerce, Sociology Villa Madonna College, 'mthematics, Science Villa radonna College, Librarian, English, History Villa Madonna College, Iusic Catholic University, Vashixgton, D C , VII k VIII Grades Villa Madonna College, V a VI Grades St Xavier University, III k IV Grades Villa Vadonna College, I R II Grades .
