Invitations to the Hudson County Catholic Tournament and the State Tourna- ment prove the dazzling reputation our quintet has won. Not only did the Academy five win a Con- solation trophy in the Hudson County Catholic Tournament but also tast stepping Billy Donavan attained a berth on the Hudson County all-star fx '11 Manager Kerwin McMahon presents the trophy to Captain John McKenna. Three cheers for a successful season, boys! team. Billy, aided by Boby Dames, Lefty McKenna, Jackie Olsen, Moose Perricane, Terry Reilly, Mickey Hayes, Jack Curry and Joe Keating, marched on to Victory. Congratulations to the Varsity, to the com- petent varsity manager Kerwin McMahon, and to Sister M. Melchior who spurred the Varsity on to triumph.
