The goal of education-our goal of the educa- tion pursued here-is set upon lofty cliffs, radiant in the azure of everlasting truth, inspiring, ennobling. Before our soul's eye visions of the future appeared with a convincing quality of permanence, with a pressing exhortation to fulfillment. Not as daydreams. ln a quickening tempo, luminously, the realization came: what to be and what to do in order to attain our sublime end. Generous infiltra- tions of faith and heroism had inundated the great benefits of education that became ours and their animated force stirs us to a lifework which shall beget no regrets.
