On the last Sunday preceding the campaign, an all-day Adoration of the Blessed Sacra- ment in everyparish was scheduled, and Bishop Treacy urged the faithful to be generous with their time in asking God to look with favor on the impending fund campaign. From all over the State and nation, letters of encouragement and praise for the seminary campaign were received from persons prominent in Church and State, and generous donations rolled in even before the drive actually opened.
