The dedication day of Holy Cross Seminary is a jubilant one for all of us, since it brings to completion a work started four years ago -- a work made possible by your generous and selfless cooperation under the guidance of our Bishop. This building, however, is more than its structure, or beauty, or architecture suggests. It expresses your firm desire to make possible for your sons the oppor- tunity of following Christ in the work of the Priesthood among you. It is, then, a representation of your faith, your will, your part in perpetuating Christ's Priesthood in this section. of His Vineyard. We, who will live and work and pray in this Seminary, students and priests alike, will try to be just as generous in our efforts as you have been in yours.
