PHYSICAL DEVELOP Another vital part in the eduvation of Holy Cross students is eonsidered in their physical development. This phase of formation extends from the physieal edueation elasses in the sehoolis schedule through the intramural and junior varsity programs. to varsity prep sports. At Holy Cross. the athleties are organized under the supervision of eompetent 4-oaehes and they are earried on throughout the sehool year and the summer. The entire program is sutlieiently diversified to offer students the type of sports that are good for them and that they like lrest. Its purposes are for good health. to teach students to get along well with others. for the good use of leisure time and to show the manly way to win and lose. The Holy Cross student realizes that his sehool has organized an exeellent program for his physival development.
