The first energetic students had invaded the building and the saga of Holy Cross was underway. The following school year 585 new Freshmen joined with the 512 Sophomore returnees to raise the total enrollment to 899. The history of this past year is still before our eyes in clear focus. Those things in it which time and distance may dim, this yearbook hopes to preserve in a tangible form as a source of future enjoyment for all Holy Cross Men, es- pecially those fortunate and privileged four hundred who can proudly claim that they were the First, A11xiff.n'y Bitlrofr 101111 1.
