That was the main emotion ofthe 1984- 1985 Girls' Varsity Softball Team. With a re- cord of 1-4 at the start, no one expected these girls to win anything but, their luck started to change for the better. Together they achieved a 12-9 record for the season and did what seemed impossible - beating Paramus Catholic to become the State Champions. Judy Wood, a winning pitcher, remarked that it fthe champion- shipj was just alot of hard work and dedication from everyone .
