OCTOBERFEST As October came to an end, the High School students became overwhelmingly anxious for the annual clash of the classes. Again this year, the competition would be fierce and each grade would struggle to reign supreme. However, something unprecedented happened. The juniors, after placing third in Volleyball behind the Sopho- mores, made a valiant comeback in other events to WIN Octoberfest. We won ' t tell if you won ' t, said the Class of 1988. NHS AND NJHS The National Honor Society was busy this year. Under the leadership of Mr. Pettyjohn the group hosted an extremely successful Advisee Day. They also had the first night induction ceremony in which many people were inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society.
