OCTOBERFEST As October came to an end, the High School students became overwhelmingly anxious for the annual clash of the classes. Again this year, the competition would be fierce and each grade would struggle to reign supreme. However, something unprecedented happened. The juniors, after placing third in Volleyball behind the Sopho- mores, made a valiant comeback in other events to WIN Octoberfest. We won ' t tell if you won ' t, said the Class of 1988. J.V. GIRLS ' SOFTBALL In its first year, the J.V. Softball Team learned the game ' s fundamentals. Under the leadership of Coach Kelly Bryant the team showed great improvement by the year ' s end.
