wi, 'wr zfzzmwi ocliool o utliolzc il ctmu The 19-48 session of the S. S. C. A. affords a fitting approach to the Sodality year at Holy Angels. The Summer School of Catholic Action conducted at Fordham University, New York City, during the week of August 16121 was attended hy Norma Davern, incoming Prefect, and Ann Marie Vacco, junior Prefect, as Sodality delegates: also Donata Giffoniello, Ann O'Connor, and Sharleen Smith who went on their own. All five agree that it was indeed six days that they will never forget. Father Guardian in Sister ducted a Deglman, pictured above, whose Angel stories are well known to anyone Mary Priscilla's religion classes, con- vocational guidance course in such an amusing, interesting and enlightening manner that his classes were always filled to overflowing. Father Lord, SJ., in his Action Now confer- ences, literally boomed his message home to some seven hundred students. And so on down the say list of faculty, just brimming over with things to do and Ask those five who attended if they saw very much of New York City itself. and the answer is NO. Do they care? Again, no. Wlay It would he ditiacult to explain unless the ext rience has heen yours too. All the splendor ot New York couldn't contain all that was held that oasis of the Bronx during those six days or Catholic fellowship with Christ. His Blessed Mother, the wonderful faculty and the frieni s easily made among the students.
