You know this age is characterized by a remarkable development of human power, activity, and freedom. And the increase of freedom tends to unsettle moral principles and to create a lack of stabilityg and independence of opinion and a bold and reckless spirit. Outward restraints have been removed to a large extent and consequently there is more need for inward restraints. Holy Angels was charged with the responsibility of teaching you the rules of living.
