Choir Good singing takes time and effort, and a long time and hard effort are put in by the girls in the Choir. Under the direc- tion of Sister Alma, the results of their practice can be heard in the beau- tiful songs at the 11 o'clock Mass. rchestra Q F' ff gi , p vrv .a Z Holy Angels has a new addition on the activity list! We now enjoy the pleasure of hearing the beautiful music from our first Orchestra. Under the capable direction of Sister Evangelista, Directress of Music and a newcomer to Holy Angels, the girls have been practicing since September. Lots of time and practice have been given by Sister and the girls, and the Orchestra has advanced in smoothness and preci- sion. At our Christmas assembly the Orchestra put on their first performance, and the entire school truly enjoyed singing their Christ- mas Carols to the beautiful background of violins and piano. The Glee Club appeared on And Give Thee Peace with Father Roman as the -1 - Glee Club From behind the closed Assembly doors during fourth and fifth periods can be heard the beautiful voices of the Glee. The Holy Angels Glee has quite often had the pleasure of bringing happi- ness into the homes of the many people in the Seattle area by appearing on the television program And Give Thee Peace.
