Maxine Hale General Sodality Prefect It is a happy and rewarding thing to be a sodalist. Every year we are told that we are all sodalists. This means that we are able to become spiritual members of the Holy Fam- ily. We accept Mary as our mother and her holy spouse, Saint joseph, as our spiritual protector and com- panion. Christ not only becomes our Brother, but is also able to be ac- cepted more thoroughly as our God and Master. Every homeroom elects a Sodality Prefect. This girl is chosen for her outstanding spirituality and for her love and devotion to our mother, Mary. Under the direction of Maxine Hale, General Sodality Prefect, and Sister Maureen, Sodality Advisor, the Sodality Prefect of each room has the responsibility of caring for the spiritual side of her class by encour- Sodalit aging Mass Day attendance, distrib- uting pamphlets, organizing mission projects, and in every way working toward the spiritual betterment of the class. 13 ,Ja if FROM LEFT: Mary Ann Cullinane, Judy Byron, Maxine Hale, Mary Rochon, Charlane Doyle, Sister Maureen, and Sandy Rochon.
