What is wrong is not losing. What is wrong is when you lose, not getting up off that floor and coming back and fighting again. And our teams kept coming back with spirit and energy. And Still The Year Raced On As we shuffled from class to class, the little white flakes of snow drifting gailv around our shoulders, we became con- vinced that winter was upon us literally. The merry month of November was highlighted by the special assembly at which the Friends, a fine musical group, were the guests. Their music left a lasting influence and in the following months many said we were marching to a different drummer. Overall spirits were high and even report cards did nol serve to dampen the evident enthusiasm.

As We Near The Finish This year was indeed a year for happenings. The many ac- tivities are all over now, the seniors are all gone. The new school is not so new now nor are the teachers. But the joy of new friends, new experiences, and new activities, these are the true happenings. They cannot be captured on film and placed on pages in a yearbook. They can only exist in the dark corners of our minds, to be dusted off by memories. As we go our separate ways, we will always recall the many things we did this year and will always remember it as The Year For Happenings.
