The Sophomore class float cook 3rd place Homecoming 1974 didn ' t go too great this year. High points of Homecoming was the naming of the week called Spurt Week. Spurt Week included many activities. Mon- day being Swap Day which included such things as pencils, shoes, socks, and manv other ar ticles of clothing and some even went as far as swapping kisses. Tuesday, Powderpuff Football was on the agenda which was the most successful event of the week. Though the girls held true and gave the Junior girls a sound whipping by winning the game, 16-0. Despite all the bruises and cuts both sides will admit to en- joying themselves greatly. Wednesday was Utensil Day. The FHA float. TORKTORATi . ■ » i . ■ «■■ ' ■«■■ m». Some people brought pots, pans, pails, spoons, knives, and forks. These people were so good at making noise that Mr. Hall called Utensil Dav off before noon. Thursday was Re- verse Dav. Not manv joined in but those that did were an unusual sight. Have you ever worn your pants or your shirt backwards, or inside out? Some did but changed around before noon, due to being highly uncomfortable. Frid ay being Tramp Day saw a lot of participants including Mr. Hall. This brought Spurt Week very near the end leaving the parade, crowning of the King and Queen, and the game. Above and to the sides are pictures of the floats. Don ' t they look grand? ..
