Spurt Week ' s Powderpuff Football Game Spurt Week had a thrilling day in it with the girls Pow- derpuff Football Game. The teams were the Senior Girls v.s. the Junior Girls. Each team had about one day to prac- tice in. The game started off with Seniors kicking off to the Juniors. And the bruising began. The Seniors led all the way with help of the coach and the co-coach calmly screaming and yelling plays and the beau- tiful cheerleaders cheering them on for a victory. The Se- niors came through with a 16-0 win over the Juniors. The starting offense for the winnning team was: Carol Pickard-Right Halfback; Sandy Wadkins-Fullback; Mich- ele Zerlaut-Left Halfback; Christy McCastle-Quarterback; Sue Seyferth-Right End; Debbie Neal-Right Tackle; Char- lene England-Right Guard; Faith Veldman-Center; Yvonne Dore-Left Guard; Rose Slater-Left Tackle; John- nie Rrooks-Left End; Linda Murat-Guard; Maryellen Sten- berg-Tackle; Cindy Kelly-Halfback; and the Sophomores: Deb Dutterer, Ilene Broton, and Sue Deur. This team was coached by Dan England and Steve Luttrull.
