The Social Qeruee Club IS an orlfamzatlon whose main objectne IQ to combine work and fun in an effort to help others The club mem be rshlp is limited to twenty resident students of whom no more thln ten may be seniors A new member must reeene 1 majority xote of the elub The Social Service Club has a number of money I'2llSlll projeets durinff the year t sponsors an annual Variety Show alwavs a blff suceess and much fun a snack bar 1n the even inf for the boarders and an auction of articles left in the lost and Pound durinv the year The funds raised in this way are used for various eharitable projects such as a party for the ehildren in the Junior Villave The members of the elub are also responsible for runninv the annufll T niteel ffners l'und Drixe ln the school The Soeial Seruee Club has indeed become an indispenslble part of the life at Holton Arms The Cotillion Club was founded three years aero in the- interest of the resident students. Its purpose is to invrease the- enjoyment of bO'lI'lTTI1fI lite by orgfanizin entertainment 'ind dances for the boarders. This year the e-lub sponsored parties and movies within the school. It was also responsible, for orffanizinef small dances throuvfh which the, boardinfi stuele nts became 'le-quainteel with stu- dents of other schools.
