----SENIOR MIRIAM T. TITTMAN College Preparatory Course FROM THE THIRD GRADE Miriam has Wended her way up to the point of graduating, collecting a science prize in the process. Her interest is held by her many hobbies, animals Cshe declares that she loves them all ex- cept snakes and the Japanese!D, and the Dramatic Club. Apparently Miriam is quite ambitious, because she is looking forward to becoming a scientist, an actress, and a famous poet. It is up to Hollins College to help her make these goals. LOUISE L. D. VANCE College Preparatory Course LOUISE came to Holton from Ken- tucky and liked it so well that she stayed-for thirteen years, no less! We, who knew her in those days 'way back, remember her as a little girl who could never get anywhere in one piece with everything in the right place. But today we have heard from a certain party-and we quote -that she is that dark, sultry beauty down at Holton. We would add, that in sweetness and Southern charm, she is really tops.

This is perfectly in accord with her ambitions, which are to travel in South America, to speak Spanish with a Senor Sanz-like ac- cent, and to get married. Her more immediate plans include either Swarthmore or Vassar College. HARRIET MURRAY STURGIS funiar College Couture GRADUATING from Holton is a hobby with Punks-she did it last year and now she's doing it again! We told her she didn't deserve another write- up and she nearly throttled us, so this is dedicated to her never-say-die perseverance. Punks is a mite of a creature and when she's around us, the situation is painfully suggestive of a Chihuahua among giant red- woods. Somehow Punks has a beau- tifully developed brain, wants to do Big Things with it. What college? She hasn't decidedf

E IORS-- - ROBERTA VEVERKA College Preparatory Count LITTLE ROBERTA has the distinction of being one of the most cheerful- looking girls at Holton in spite of her duties as a member of the Stu- dent Government. We've seen Bob- bie's delightful acting in the Dra- matic Club plays, but we notice that riding and sleeping also make claims on her spare time. College plans are indefinite, but Vassar is a proba- bility. Wherever she goes, however, we know that Roberta's quiet and charming personality is sure to be an asset. MARY HOLT WHITTLE junior College Course EVERYBODY LOVES HOLTIE, probably because she is such a generous and understanding person, always ready to sympathize, to encourae.
