GREETINGS To The Graduates of 1954 The creation of original thoughts is difficult, even unusual, since all great ones have been thought many, many times, but we may make them ours and benefit thereby by using them over and over sincerely until they take firm root in our own lives. To think well and clearly the mind, like the body, has to be trained before it can use its powers in the most advantageous ways. We often dream of possessing great powers, but one of the greatest and most sublime for each of us to cultivate is simple patience. 'mm
