Landers, Mr. Combs, coach. 1957 GOLF Golf in Achon I-lo1t's golf team did a very good Job this year under coach John Combs The Rams were defending their first place 1956 Capital Circuit title but lost the 1957 title by only 2 strokes. In the Regionals, the Rams came in fourth. Next year, the team will miss Captain Larry Twichell who was medalist in the Capital Circuit Meet. Other Seniors that are leaving are Roger Brewer and Mike Land ers. The team held a very good record of '7 wins and 3 losses for the year 1957 GIRL'S BASKETBALL O , I O Gln S In Achon ROW 1: W. Silky, S. Jewett, P. Kennell, G. Utter, D. Straight, M. Herding ROW 2 Mrs The Girl 's Basketball team was coached by Mrs. Marvin. The team had a very good record with some very thril- ling games. They had asea- son's record of 3 wins and 2 losses. They played an un- defeated Laingsburg team and beat them. They also played two over-time games, win- ning one and losing one.
