The choir's biggest project this year was the operetta, Meet Arizona , a story of a vacation on a dude ranch, with more than 100 people in the cast. The choir also participated in various assemblies, including the Christmas and Thanksgiving assemblies. Four members of the choir entered the solo festival this year. Vicki Stornant received a first rating, with Roger Brewer and Gloria Taber receiving a second, and Keith Brewer capturing a third rating. The officers of this years choir are Pres. The Art Club is a new organization at Holt High this year. The club meets once a week in the Art Room. Their slogan is Interest--Not Talent . Their one big project of the year was an Art Show on May 20th. The c1ub's officers are Pres.-Sec. M. Hitchens and V. Pres.- Treas. D. Conarton. The advisor is Mrs. Perry. Their money- making projects were a baked goods sale and the selling of Radell products. The organization sent three delegates, Maija Kepetis, Joan Comelius, and Judy Tunningley, to the state convention at Grand Rapids. On May 14th they had a fashion show and the installation of the new officers for next year. Officers include Pres. J. Tunningley, V. Pres. S. Magee, Sec. J. Cornelius, Treas. HOLT HIGH The High School band, consisting of 58 pieces, is a very popular and versatile group. The band marches at parades, football games and has a smaller group called the pep band which plays for all the pep rallys.
