They won seven debates and lost one, and they also lost their first debate in the district meet.

The Art Club is a new organization at Holt High this year. The club meets once a week in the Art Room. Their slogan is Interest--Not Talent . Compliments of: RICHTER'S GARDENS 4801 S. Cedar St., Lansing F.H.A The Future Homemakers of America was formed in January. Their money- making projects were a baked goods sale and the selling of Radell products. The organization sent three delegates, Maija Kepetis, Joan Comelius, and Judy Tunningley, to the state convention at Grand Rapids. On May 14th they had a fashion show and the installation of the new officers for next year. Officers include Pres. J. Tunningley, V. Pres. S. Magee, Sec. J. Cornelius, Treas.
