VARSITY CLUB The Girl's Athletic As- soeiation leads all the otha clubs with a mem- bership of over 100, this year. This is the largest membership any club has ever had. This year's GAA was also the most active. Among other ac- tivities, they sponsored a girls basketball team, and softball team, had a play night once a month, at- tended several play days at other schools, and held noon hour dances every week as their only money- making activity. The officers this year were J. Durliat, Pres., J. Armour, V. Pres M. Landers, Treas., and B. Foster, Sec. The club was very proud when J. Orr was elected as State Lt. Governor. Their many activities include a fall hayride, a spring carwash, and a dance in May. The club also assumed the responsi- bility of policing the cafeteria.
