The guys compiled a very fine record of 5 wins and 2 losses and 2 ties which put us in third place in the final Capital Circuit standings. We are sorry to see that nine seniors are graduating, including All-Stater Bob Tuttle, Iack Durliat, Don DeChelbor, Gary Chappell, Lewis Helmker, Dick Raber, Bob Heyden, and Scott Barker. These boys have left two things behind. First, the memory of their fine work and second, the spirit instilled in the boys coming back next year. Boys returning from the first string include Dar- win Shaver, Bob Foster, and defensive starters Jerry Orr, John Weaver, and Gary Howell, Other outstanding players are Don Livensparger, Dick Chapman, Greg Taylor, Roy Schnepp, and others. You can be sure that these boys will carry on the fine winning tradition of the Holt High Rams. Good luck boys. 1956 Schedule Holt Eaton Rapids Holt 13 Mason 13 Holt Charlotte Holt 25 Okemos 7 Holt Grand Ledge Holt 14 Haslett 14 Holt Williamston Holt 13 Howell '7 Holt Everett Compliments of: AMERICAN STATE BANK HEATHERWOOD DAIRY FARMS Member of F.D.I.C. The team won the Capital Circuit Championship with a record of 12 wins and 0 losses, being beaten only by Everett, in the Christ mas Tournaments, and Lakeview, in the Regional Tournaments. Four Seniors will graduate from the team, all starters. There were 5 juniors and 4 sophomores on this year's team, which will be returning next year Don Livensparger will be the only returning starter, but there are many outstanding boys of top caliber fighting for the four open spots. 1956-57 Schedule REGULAR SEASON CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENTS Holt 59 Grand Ledge 46 Holt 38 Everett Holt 59 Howell 47 Holt 62 Okemos Holt 52 Eaton Rapids 31 Holt 45 St. Mary Holt 63 Stockbridge 51 DISTRICT TOURNAMENTS Holt 50 Charlotte 37 Holt 58 Portland Holt 78 Mason 57 Holt 60 Oke mos Holt 53 Everett 48 Holt 54 Everett Holt 80 Grand Ledge 60 REGIONAL TOURNAMENT S Holt 59 Howell 37 Holt 75 Hopkins Holt 64 Eaton Rapids 48 HON 76 Middleville Holt 62 Charlotte 44 Holt 42 Lakeview Holt 61 Mason 37 Holt 50 Everett 42 Compliments of: LeCLEAR PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO Michigan Ave. - East Lansing Best in Photography D. Bob didn't spend all his time shooting baskets, dribbling and passing the ball as some opponents may have thought. He has earned twelve letters, four in football, four in basketball, and four in baseball. Bob has often been called Mr, Everything of Holt High School. Bob was named to the DETROIT FREE PRESS CLASS C ALL STATE TEAM in basketball and was second string ALL STATE for all schools in football.
