Many summers will come and many summers will go, But our Senior year memories will be treasured as gold, As our dreams of yesterday in our hearts will unfold. We've had our laughter, work, and play We only wish that we could stay. But we must leave and prepare for a Brighter Day. And we'll remember Holston Valley for aye Farewell! Farewell to thee Oh, School we've learned to love. Farewelll Farewell dear old H. V. Anita Edens desires to prosper in life Later on she will be a housewife. Nlargaret Jane Smithson has a personality that's hard to beat So all Senior girls will have to admit defeat. Margaret Ragan is a round about girl And keeps the boys in a whirl. Evelyn Cumbow is as sweet as a rose And has the cutest little PUQ ROSS. This girl is mighty small and quiet And her name is Robbie White. Frankie Barr is as bright as the sun With all that brain she's a lot of fun. Herman Richardson, well he's alright And they say he can really fight. The preacher's sons are Charles and Earl The smartest boys in this whole world. Hal Phillips is a lady's man But try and catch him if you can. ln school he's quite a talker Mr. Post calls him Shelbow Walker. Now Violet Singleton is iust fine, After all she dates Chine . Joe Stophel is Mr. Stophel's son, He made a funny when he said, Howl Hawl That's a good one. Harold Hutton in the Junior play was a gangster But off stage he is quite a prankster. Polly's hair is still curly and her eyes still blue, Why doesn't Jim love her like he used to d A brilliant boy is Clyde Crowe There's not an answer he doesn't know. Elaine Pickle doesn't have a need All because she dates Bruce Smead. A cute girl is Lynn Cox, A regular Jack in the Box. A blue eyed blonde is Margaret Gray ln basketball she can really play.
