The Junior and Senlor reception was held April 26, 1946 in the Hotel Hardlng at M r1on We entertalned the class of'46 in an Hawaiian settlng The class orchestra featured an original arrangement of NJonnnv Green's 'onkey Petn and a popular song entitled Chickery Chlck Kenneth Tavlor' solo was the hit of the evening During our Junior vear our boys again made a good re cord for themselves ln athletics Five of our seven hovs were on Peserve and Varsity basketball teams, four repre sented our cl ss 1n baseball, and four in tr ck Five of our members were also eligible for national Honor Soclety Ev the end of the Junior vear we had fifteen members Clara Bantzhaff and Harry Hells h d entered our class some time before, with Dorothv B ldv nd Kenneth Tavlor ioining 15 s Juniors This group carried on s the Senior cl ss and has gone through the last year to graduation without any further changes Our Senior vear, of course, has been our busiest year Wherever we turned, there was work to be done, bmt lwavs good times vere mixed in with the work The blaaest events of the vear were our trip to Tiffln on September 49, the Junlor and Senior b nouet 1F rarisn or April 18, and our there Our last weeks at Folmes Liberty High School have been busy with play pr ctice, 'A C se of Springtime , again di rected by Nrs Schieber, who h s also served as 96V15OP this year Fight of our tot l number of fifteen made grades high enough to m ke them members of the Honor Socletv this spring Ue've also been busy in the office durlng any spare time we might have had helping vith the completlon of our uOrioleU for 1947 Between times, we h ve trled to keep up with assignments for classes Ve h ve again been busy in thletics, with six bovs on the Peserve and Varsity basket b ll teams, five on the baseball team, and four out for track Our plans for Baccalaureate and Commencement ser vices have also been completed We have come to the end of the history of the cl ss of 1947 We know that we haven't been sensational and th t another class will take our place as Seniors, but we sin cerelv hope that we haxe left a little something with the school and instructors that will be remembered for iust ourselves alone . l rx I Q 1 . x -CJ Q 'A .1 . r 1 . 9 f., . 1 .lf .V . 4 A L .
