After a successful year in I949, including the winning of the N.K.A.C. crown, the basket- ball squad of 1950 has striven to keep up the good record. To the right are action shots ot some ot the games which brought many tense moments to the Ians of the Holmes Hoopsters. Basketball is a game ot speed, coordination, ability, and a lot ot ambition. Springtime brings to Holmes the crack of bats, the clunk of balls into the catchers mit and the cry, Play Ball! Especially are the fans on edge When the score is tied, with two outs, and the count is three balls and two strikes. What happens? ls it a strike-out or a homerun? We may not have a Ted Williams or a Bob Feller, but We are proud of our boys on the diamond.
