Varsity Has 4-10 Record Freshman volleyballers are a pro- mising team with prospects for a win- ning future. They showed lots of spirit, and good hustling teamwork was a big asset in their 6-8 record. J.V.’s had a slow start but they showed much improvement as district play progressed. They ended the season with a 2-12 record. The varsity plays a 5-1 which means that 5 girls are spikers and one is a set- ter. This has made them hustle more but it helpd to improve their playing ability. Mrs. Graham feels that next year they’ll have the experience and the ability to be one of the top teams in the district. Marie Navarro was out- standing in blocking and spiking and helped earn her a spot on all-district second team, while Isabel Bustamante made Honorable Mention. They had a 4-10 record. 1.
