Yukon Days Makes History Yukon Days, held Saturday, Oct. 19, was one of the most successful in the carnival’s history as 36 clubs put up booths to bring in S2.588.58. Sidewalk food booths offered a va- riety of Mexican. French and German delights. Soft drinks, snowconcs, pas- try stands and cake walks catered to the sweet tooth. All the old favorites were there: the dunking booth, the jail and Char- ley’s Inferno. Many new events, such as DECA’s Tricycle race, also appeared. By 7 p.m., the carnival was over, but not the evening. Sinister Fox” paced the music for the Yukon Days dance as some 300 couples showed up. 18
