The Dance Club was established this year to provide an easy, open atmos- phere in which to learn to dance and meet people. Members of the club learn a wide variety of steps including square danc- ing, round dancing, and jitterbug. So- cial studies teacher Marsha Grccnburg taught the jitterbug, while Mr. Robert Boyd and Ms. Anna Fuller taught a va- riety of the other steps. One of the special activities was Parents’ night in which parents were invited to dance along with the members. A Christmas Party and a St. Patrick’s Day party were also held. The year’s activities were climaxed with a party at Swiss Chalet with din- ner and dancing. 2. Mr. Boyd shows Patty Mazzurana how to jitterbug. • 3.
