The 1973 Student Council, working with Mr. Charles Brown, principal, ac¬ complished a number of long-sought goals. They brought about the presenta¬ tion of mini-courses— a first for the Northside District. Also accredited to their efforts is the provision of a smoking area on campus and the relaxing of the student dress code, allowing a boy’s hair to reach the bottom of his shirt collar. The Council also requested exemptions from final exams possible for all classmen passing the course and having six or less absences in a semester. Executive Board.
