LETTERMEN JAMES FREE ga,,,,,,i Red, playing his last year for Holmes, gave the team a boost at mid-season. The only regular left from last year, he could hit that basket well and was a fine team man. We shall miss you next year, Red Cgfjfgf Smiley was a dependable man defensively and was good on getting rebounds. His willingness to prac- tice and his desire to improve paid off for him. A sophomore, he will not be wearing the maroon and white next year. i BILLY DEAN RAY farm,-4 Hustle, spirit, and determination mark this boy, who has practiced for perfection. Good luck, Billy! ZACK GRAY Cefzfef and Fmuafd A letterman from last year, Zacks height has proved a valuable asset to the team. BOBBY HUNT Girard This is Bobby's first year to wear the maroon and white, but he has been one of the most dependable men on the team. With hustle and spirit to burn, he often spurred our team on to victory. A' fine team man, he is expected to do great things next yC3.I'. Guard MELVIN McFARLAND A fine ball handler, Melvin is the kind of boy who hates to make a mistake. He has a good eye for the basket, and we anticipate an even better season for him next year. GENE SHANEYFELT Forward Genes defense is his best asset, but his scoring was improving until injuries hit him. He should de- velop into a splendid man next year. She has improved greatly this season, and we are expecting great things of her next year. CLARA NORRIS Forzwrzrd Boot's height has been a great asset to her as post girl.
