Sure enough after coming off an inexperience season in 1969-70 they split their meets with a final record of 13-13, boys and girls combined. The boys were 7-6 while the girls were 6-7. This reason was due partly to Debbie Sharkey and Mark Hertig. They both swam well and scored high in points. Coach Steeves will be glad they are both coming back for the next season. Some boys coming out late hurt the chances of breaking .500. Bill Wachtstet- ter came out late because of a football injury and a few other swimmers who will help next year's team. 4 J ., is 'V 'abil me I ww. fats' J L -' ,Is iasswiyiiby ,WY-ssifsf Q W-is. uffsiiwvr 1 ff:-Sf'-f W iavflifa' is-is ii Sw: we--ist it-581 1 .s 1 1 , , :4,,.m.-r Mu: H i fm Q gb? , , H5571 ,,', .'
