Ce Gag The purpose of the Science Club is to advance, stimulate, extend, and improve the personal and total interests of the organization and to aid the individual students in obtaining scholarship funds. Several field trips were taken during the year. In addition, guest speakers attended some meetings. CSdeQJSA Chg iiLa Flama de Amistad?, was organized this year to promote the Spanish language and the culture of the Spanish speaking peoples. itLa Flama de Amistadii has sponsored a candied apple sale and a trip to see the award-winning play giMan of La Manchaii, and is planning many future projects.

Membership is a distinct honor and is reserved for those out- standing publications staff members who meet the basic requirements established by the Society and its local chapters.
