Deca identifies the program of youth activity relative to DE-Distributive Education Clubs of Americaeand is designed to develop future leaders for marketing and distributing. Purposes are to develop a respect for education in marketing and distributing which will contribute to occupational competence and to promote understanding and appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship in our free, competitive enterprise system. t The purposes of the Diversified Cooperative Training Club are to give students the responsibility of a job; to establish working experience; to prepare for an occupational future; to develop a systematic plan of savings; to help members to associate with fellow workers; and to provide the students with occupational training. Upon graduation the qualifications acquired will enable the member to reach a better job.
